Red Market launching in Romania!
Dec 10th was a great day: we launched for Mega Image a new concept of supermarket - Red Market
How is this different from Mega Image? Simple: low prices, easy-to-shop and fast process. It’s not a fast food but a fast supermarket :-) and it’s a reeeeeeeeed market :-)
For those who live in Southern Bucharest, go check it – it’s in Green City residence :-)... For the others, don't forget: there is always a Mega Image supermarket nearby :-)

Med Truck Int. - movie presention
Moving cargo internationally is not for amateurs!...We've learnt this while working on a movie presentation for Med Truck International.
Even though the industry of forwarding services was totally a stranger to the creative team, we’ve managed to understand it and take the most of it.

Ziua Campului 2009 … at the end …
Rainy, cold, dark-grey days have arrived at the right moment for us: we have finalized “Ziua Campului” events. The last one took place at Jimbolia / Timis and it was just as interesting and interactive as the other one.
The meeting with the passionate farmers really gave us hope that things will be better in the future if Romanians start focusing on agriculture. We are so lucky to have so much land in this country, unfortunately it is not labored yet. But the important thing is that some Romanians woke up and saw the potential. Good luck guys! We’ll gladly support you!
As for the event, the movie speaks for itself:

First event for Maiz'Europ'
The first event made in Romania by the European Association of Maize Producers (Maiz'Europ') was organized by Rainbow on September 25th and what a cheerful event it was... speeches, good food, and great crops for everyone. The highlight of the day was the field presentation of the newest 24 hybrids of corn. Here are some images from the event:

Ziua Campului LG
Braila, 21 aug 2009 - A perfect day for LG Harvest Day with over 150 farmers from the region [S-E Romania] invited to see the great crops of corn and sunflower from the seeds of Limagrain Romania. Sunny, not too windy, a lot of joy, yammy food, cold drinks, very good presentations on field, interactive paintball shooting contest, tough bull on the rodeo contest defeated by a farmer that wouldn't get enough ;-))), consistent prizes for the winners, new business connections, nice music, new friends ...
... a true colorful day for the rainbow team ;-) and a successful one for Limagrain Romania (as they said) ;-)
Hopefully the weather will be nice with us and we'll celebrate the harvests from the other regions.

ACER Mix of Business & Adrenaline
August 11th was a very fun day! Plenty of work mixed with a lot more fun and adrenaline @ Acer Karting Cup.
Business talks, vruuuum vruuum, negotiations, drinks (non-alcoholic ‘cause some were driving), karting semi-finals, nice food sprinkled with nice conversations, karting finals, and the winner is: ……… everybody [for having fun at work].
I’m sure Acer Sales are now in high speed after so much adrenaline!

Old Friend + Rainbow = New ID Happy Friend
Sebi is one of the best photographers in Romania and of course I am saying this because he is our very good friend! :-) Passionate, God-gifted, talented-eye, calm, optimistic, workaholic and without ID but with an old website. This was Sebi of 2009.

Solution: Rainbow created one ;-) [ta daa] : simple, elegant, trustful.
This is the type of project where the creatives meet the production team and convert simple materials into special and memorable ones (you can't really see it in the photo, but when you touch the logo your fingertips feel it... yuuuu....)

Hidroelectrica's movie
Last week we where at Drobeta Turnu Severin shooting a presentation movie for Hidroelectrica with our good friends from Power Media. 35% of all the Romanian energy comes from Portile de Fier I si II and it's clean and green. One impressive water turbine generates power for about 4 to 5 major cities.
We will post the movie as soon as it's ready, till then enjoy some pictures form the trip.

I constantly read Al Ries notes on AdAge.com and this time I just felt that some of his sayings should be on our blog for inspiring you [our colorful readers:-)].
Ad business is continuously changing, but with this credit crunch it is changing faster and not necessarily in a positive way.
We all talk about pricing these days. The first thing I hear my friends asking about is price. How much does it cost? (no matter the subject, be it an icecream or a holiday)... I used to be a brand-lover and thus brand buyer; truly believed that price is not everything when deciding ... but nowadays, when everybody around me asks the same question, I find myself asking this in situations where I wouldn't have had in the past.
This is why I loved Al Ries writing and I advise you to take a few minutes and read.
"...in today's world, ideas and concepts don't seem to matter. What matters is "execution". If you can execute well, goes the thinking, you are going to win. Which in itself is true. What is not true is that execution is unrelated to the power of the ideas and concepts driving the business.
Variable pricing is one of those ideas. No matter how well you execute a variable-pricing strategy, you wind up undermining the brand... Yesterday's brand-loyal customer is today's price-comparison shopper..."
